How do I create a discussion with my development team about my application project?

You can use the App Board to create a discussion about your application project with your team members. Only your team members have access to the Board. To do this:

  1. Navigate to My Apps > App Name > App Board. The App Board displays.
  2. Choose the Discussion topic type.
  3. In the What do you want to discuss? text box, type your topic text. To add new paragraphs or lines press Return.
  4. In the Add a short title text box, enter a description for your post.
  5. Enter tags to uniquely identify your post.
  6. Click Submit to submit your discussion topic.

How do I report a problem with an API using the App Board?

You can use your App Board or API Board to submit trouble tickets directly to the Admin Team.

To report a trouble ticket through the App Board:

  1. Navigate to the My Apps > App Name > App Board. The App Board displays.
  2. Choose the Ticket topic type.
  3. In the What issues would you like to report? text box, type your topic text. To add new paragraphs or lines press Return.
  4. In the Add a short title text box, enter a description for your post.
  5. Enter tags to uniquely identify your post.
  6. Select the priority for the ticket from the Priority drop-down menu (Minor, Major, Critical).
  7. Select the API the ticket pertains to from the APIs drop-down menu.
  8. Select an environment (sandbox or production) from the Environment drop-down menu.
  9. Click Submit to post your ticket.
  10. See How do I filter information in the App Board? to manage and view the display of existing tickets.

Please note: All submitted tickets are visible in the API Board as well as in your App Board.

How do delete an App Board item?

The App Board allows you to delete discussion or ticket post types. When you delete a post all comments entered by site users are also deleted. You can only delete posts you have personally added.  

To delete a discussion or ticket:

  1. Access the App Board that includes a discussion or ticket you would like to delete.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner of the post, click x to the right of the post icon.
  3. The message "Are you sure you want to delete this?" displays. Click OK to delete the post, or Cancel to exit the operation.
