How do I cancel an API access request?

If you would like to cancel an API access request after it is submitted, you can post a comment to the API Access Request Board item requesting that the API Administrator cancel the request. For more information, see How do I ask or answer questions relating to a post or ticket?

How do I edit the license scope for my API access request?

An app developer can change the license scope for a specific API access request prior to the request being approved by the API Administrator. There are a variety of different scenarios the can require changing the license scope. For example, if the API now offers a different license that better suits your needs, you can modify your request. You can also change the level of access you are requesting; for example, from Unrestricted Access to Restricted Access.

Note: You can update the license scope configuration at any time prior to the API Access Request being approved by the API Administrator. Once the API Access Request is approved, the Edit Scope function is disabled.

To edit the license scope

  1. Go to Apps > APIs.
  2. Select an API access request that has a status of "Access Pending."
  3. Click Edit Scope. The API Access Wizard launches and loads the Licenses page.
  4. Click the radio button of the license option you would like to change. If you select "Restricted Access," select the QoS policies you would like to assign to the License configuration.
  5. Click Save to commit your changes.

How do I disconnect my app from an API?

You can disconnect your app from an API it is consuming in either the Sandbox or Production environment by using the Cancel or Suspend functions. Go to My Apps, choose the app, and then in the left pane click APIs. For more information, see How do I update approved API access requests?

How do I delete an app version?

You can delete an app version on the App Details page.

Note: If you want to delete an old version and add a new version, add the new version first. If you delete the only version, the app is deleted. If you add the new version, you can then delete the older version.

To delete an app version
  1. Navigate to My Apps
  2. From the Version menu at the top right of the page, choose the version you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete Version.
  4. At the confirmation message, click OK . The app version is deleted.

How do I delete my app?

When there is only one version of an app, and you delete it, the entire app is deleted. If there is more than one version, and you want to delete the app, you must delete each version separately.

To delete an app
  1. Follow the instructions in To delete an app version above.
  2. The confirmation message warns you that deleting the last version deletes the app. Click OK to confirm. The app is deleted.
